About REACH
The Rotherglen Educating for Advocacy and Creating Hope (REACH) Foundation is an exciting new initiative for the Rotherglen community. At the heart of its conception is the desire to foster an awareness within our students of their role as citizens of the world. The Foundation provides a means for our students, parents and teachers to shape and give direction to our charitable initiatives beginning within our own community and reaching further abroad.
Our goal is to encourage children to be active citizens by encouraging a sense of gratitude, charity, citizenship, responsibility, leadership and empowerment. The REACH Foundation will teach all of our students that even as young people, they can make a difference.

Contributions

“We must all take the initiative to continue to make a difference. Now it is your turn to do your share in your community. Help a friend. Help your family. Help a neighbour. Help a stranger. Do what you can. There are those of us who take this love of helping others even further. What makes true philanthropists so special is that putting themselves first has never even been a consideration.”
—Jack Reeves, Rotherglen graduate 2008
