Communication
between parents, teachers, students and administration plays
a key role in every division of our schools. We view education
as a partnership between home and school. This partnership
is key in setting our students up for success. In our effort
to keep parents informed and students organized, a daily agenda
is used to record homework, upcoming tests and assignments.
A monthly newsletter is sent home highlighting upcoming events
and notices and parents can check our Intranet site for grade
specific information.
Report cards are issued three times per year and formal parent-teacher
interviews are held at this time. Teachers have voicemail
and parents are encouraged to contact teachers at anytime
throughout the school year with any questions they may have.
Parents are welcome to set up an appointment to meet with
teachers or administration whenever deemed necessary. Our
system of open communication has helped to create a warm and
friendly community at Rotherglen.
