Welcome to Casa and Grade One French

with Madame MacLennan

BONJOUR ET BIENVENUE!  I would like to welcome all Casa students back to Rotherglen after the summer holidays. I hope everyone had a happy and restful summer. I also would like to welcome all of the new students to Casa French and Grade One. I am eager to be back teaching and look forward for a succesful academic year!

For the month of September 2008 Casa students will learn:

- Greetings.

- Simple expressions and questions.

- Counting numbers 1 to 10.

- Colours.

- Follow basic classroom instructions.

- Songs, Canadian National Anthem "O Canada".

In September Grade One students will learn:

- Greetings.

- Simple expressions and questions.

- The vowel sounds and pronunciation.

- Counting numbers 1 to 20.

- Follow basci classroom instructions.

- Stories and French songs.
