Language

In language  this month, we will be completing our book reports and using our word wall to help us write more interesting stories. We will continue our Novel Study on Charlotte's Web and begin sentence analysis.

If our weekly spelling words do not make it home, you can check this website for them.

Please continue to make sure to read with your child every day for fifteen minutes.

Math

                                                

This month, We will continue to have math tests on the multiplication tables. We have begun work with complex addition, subtraction, multiplication and division equations. Students will begin to add and subtract fractions and money amounts.  We will also begin to look at time to the minute and to the hour.

Botany

We will complete our study of both The Leaf and The Root.

Zoology

                           

We will complete our study of The Five Kingdoms. We will begin to look at different animal homes and families.

Geography

            

This month we will complete our project on Canada.

History

We will finish up our project on Canadian Pioneers.
