November is Here!!

Casa students will be studying, "Classess of Animals."

This theme will introduce concepts such as the change of seasons, migration, hibernation and habitats. The children will also be choosing their favorite animal to research and learn more about through art activities, writing and reading projects. This theme ties together both our Zoology and Geography curriculum. A special animal craft will follow the children's research. The Casa children will also have the opportunity to choose books about animals from the library here at school.

Author of the Month

Our author of the Month will be R. H Rey, the infamous Curious George author. Students may bring in books by this author. Please remember to label your child's book on the inside cover.

Warm Clothing Reminder

Please ensure that your child is prepared for the colder weather this month. Children should be sent to school with a hat, mittens, and a warm winter coat. Please label your childrens belongings.

A Special Visitor

A musical therapist will be here at the school on November 10, 2008 to work with the children and staff. We are all very excited and looking forward to a fun filled seminar.
