Casa 4 had a blast learning about apples!  We did many fun projects and crafts relating to apples, and we had fun using our imaginations going to the apple orchard to learn some fun apple songs!

For the month of November, Casa 4 will be learning about Endangered Animals.  As children of the next generation, we feel it is important for the children to understand their part on how to save our world.  We will be travelling around the world in order to learn about the endangered animals from each continent.  The older children will complete projects on various endangered animals and will be sharing their knowledge with the rest of the class during circle time.  The younger children will create a book which will illustrate endangered animals.

In order to make the children more aware of the situation and to have them be aware of how they can take part to make a difference, Casa 4 will be raising money for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) by making something special in which they will be selling to their parents.  We can't tell you what it is going to be yet because it is going to be an exciting surprise!

Casa 4 had so much fun learing about the Limbourg Brothers, we will be continuing to learn about them as well as other artists during the Renaissance Period. The Art Activity for the month of November will be a Pasting Activity.  For the Science Activity, Casa 4 will investigate which objects sink or float with the Sink and Float activity. 

Casa 1 and Casa 4 are very excited to invite a special guest for this month. During the last week of November, the children will be watching a Puppet Show performance.  It is going to be so much fun!
