Hibernation

Dear Parents,

This month Main Casa's theme is Hibernation's. We will be talking about Hibernation.
What is Hibernation?
Some animals hibernates over the winter going into a very deep sleep. Hibernating animals usually retreat to a den, a burrow, or a hollow log for protection & shelters. etc.

Some animal that hibernate:
Some bats (like the brown bat)
Many bears from in cold climate hibernates
Some butterflies & months
Some frogs.
Some turtles

As the weather is getting colder please ensure that your children have proper coats, hats, mittens or gloves with their names clearly marked on each item of clothing. Please send an extra pair of socks or tights at times when the shoes get wet.
