The theme in Casa Three for the month of November will be "Animals around the world'. The children will learn about the different animals that live on each continent with a focus on the animals of North America. They will also learn about the five classes of animals and the characteristics of each.  The older children will create an animal study project.  They will each get to choose and research an animal and share what they discover with their classmates.  As well,all children learn how to play the mystery animal game.

This month, we will be studying te art of Lorenzo Ghiberti.  All older will create a relief pannel using cardboard, string and foil.  They will also create paintings for their animal study projects. 

The younger children will make a Canada Goose craft as well as an animals of the world booklet.

In science, children will learn colourmixing, and will complete the activity by painting a picture.

Casa Three will have a guest speaker on Monday November 10th! We are very excited and looking forward to a one hour animal themed music and movement session with a music therapist!

This month we had a special tree planting project! Ethan, along with his family kindly donated a spruce tree to our school.  We took a walk and found the perfect spot to plant it!  After all the planting fun we decided to name our new tree; PorcuPine tree!
